Europe is an amazing continent, packed with unique destinations, amazing activities and incredible diversity. One minute you can find yourself skiing in the Alps, the next the most romantic city in the world looking at world icons, and then relaxing on a beautiful beach. It is tightly packed so travel within Europe is easy and you can skip from place to place to your heart’s content.
Europe’s diversity means you can literally choose any kind of activity and find a place to go and do it. The only difficulty is choosing which one! Below we’ve picked out 3 of our favourite breaks in Europe to try and give you a helping hand…
Golfing in Cyprus
A Cyprus golf holiday is a fantastic way to see a beautiful country, as well as taking some time out to relax. Obviously you need to be a golf enthusiast to a certain extent, but even those who aren’t pros will enjoy wandering around the beautiful golf courses in Cyprus, soaking up the sun and having a few swings in between. This type of holiday is also perfect for a family holiday in Cyprus where the adults get plenty of time to relax themselves and the kids stay in a resort which has plenty for them to do.
Explore Russia
If you’re looking for a holiday which takes you slightly more off the beaten track then a holiday in Russia is a fantastic option. Russia is a beautiful country, though many still avoid visiting because of previous issues there. Now though, cities like Moscow and St Petersburg are absolutely breathtaking and give you a glimpse into another life. Wander the cobbled streets, wrap up in the freezing cold and sup on some of the best local vodka, it’s an incredible place and brings with it so much intrigue.
A City Tour of Spain
Spain is an enchanting land full of diversity and passion, where seeing one destination doesn’t give you any feel for somewhere in another part of the country. Each place needs to be visited individually and enjoyed for what it has to offer. Start in Barcelona, enjoying tapas on Las Ramblas, cheering on the football and going to the beach. From there move to Madrid, the country’s cosmopolitan capital, which will try and make you stay with its welcoming people, delightful lifestyle and wonderful food. Then work your way down to Seville, home of tapas, flamenco and bull fighting. There’s no better city to experience the ‘real’ Spain, and there’s nothing more enjoyable than sitting outside in a beautiful square with a beer and constant stream of delicious tapas.
These are just a few of our favourite things to do in Europe, though they are just the tip of the iceberg. The best way to enjoy it is to explore yourself, and you will find yourself stumbling across things you never dreamed of seeing.
